Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in New London, CT. This position is ideal for a skilled professional dedicated to supporting student development and educational success through psychological assessment and collaborative planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological testing and assessments to identify student needs and inform educational planning Participate actively in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings to develop appropriate educational programs and supports Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes Utilize bilingual skills in English and Spanish to enhance communication and service delivery to diverse student populations (bilingual ability highly valued)
Qualifications:
Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Strong experience in conducting assessments and participating in PPT meetings within school settings Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a significant asset
