Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference supporting students as a School Psychologist during the 2026-27 school year. This engaging contract opportunity near Norwalk, CT is ideal for dedicated professionals who excel in conducting evaluations and thrive when collaborating with students, families, and fellow educators. Both full-time (32.5 hrs/week) and flexible part-time arrangements are available to fit your schedule needs. While in-person presence is required, hybrid options are now open for qualified applicants. This role is a perfect fit for passionate School Psychologists who are detail-oriented, empathetic, and adept at assessments. Individuals with active Connecticut certification are highly valued, but if your certification is pending, your application is still welcome.
Key Qualifications:
Current or pending Connecticut certification as a School Psychologist Experience within K-12 school settings preferred Strong background in conducting psycho-educational evaluations Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Comfortable with regular evaluations and comprehensive reporting Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and intervention planning Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support plans Document findings and maintain accurate, confidential records As a School Psychologist in this contract position, you'll earn between $100.00 and $105.00 per hour, with a higher rate of $105.00 to $110.00 per hour available for bilingual professionals.
