School Psychologist

Make a difference supporting students as a contract School Psychologist for a maternity leave assignment running from August 31st to November 2026. This rewarding position focuses on the PreK through 2nd-grade population and offers the opportunity to contribute to a dedicated educational environment near Oxford, CT. You'll play an essential role on the crisis team and deliver critical psychological services, supporting students, staff, and families throughout your tenure.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification required Previous experience in school settings, specifically with PreK-2nd grade, preferred Strong skills in conducting evaluations and finalizing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Experience or training in crisis intervention and student support services Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations for PreK-2 students, ensuring accurate and timely documentation Provide counseling services and interventions as needed Finalize IEPs, collaborating closely with staff and families Participate as an active member of the crisis response team Contribute to a positive, supportive, and safe school environment for all students and staff This contract-based role offers an hourly rate between $50
