Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity as a School Psychologist for the entire 2026-2027 academic year in the Bear, DE area. This is an ideal position for passionate professionals eager to support student success and well-being while collaborating with dedicated educators and staff. If you're working toward your Delaware license, candidates with a pending state license are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Eligibility for, or possession of, a Delaware School Psychologist license (pending status considered) Strong background in assessment, intervention, and consultation within K-12 settings Excellent communication and collaborative skills for working with students, staff, and families Ability to organize and manage a diverse caseload efficiently Experience developing and implementing IEPs and providing recommendations for interventions
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and assessments Collaborate with instructional teams to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and planning processes Facilitate crisis intervention and prevention services, when needed Serve as a resource to teachers and administrators on best practices for student development Maintain accurate and timely documentation, safeguarding student confidentiality Enjoy the benefits of working a full school year in an engaging environment where your expertise is valued.
