Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Bring your passion for supporting students to an engaging school-based role, working with preschool through high school learners in Wilmington, DE. This contract opportunity is perfect for a licensed School Psychologist who thrives in dynamic educational environments and enjoys making a measurable impact. You'll work in person as part of the Early Years Program, focusing on psychoeducational evaluations, report writing, and active participation in IEP meetings. Collaboration with staff and service to diverse student populations are at the heart of this role.
What You'll Bring:
Active Delaware School Psychologist license (required) Prior experience in school settings, particularly with varied age groups from preschool to high school Proven skills in evaluations, assessments, and writing detailed reports Strong track record of contributing to multidisciplinary IEP teams Ability to manage a diverse caseload and support multiple school sites Excellent interpersonal and collaboration abilities Reliable transportation to travel between sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students across age groups Deliver thorough, actionable written reports Participate in IEP meetings and communicate results and recommendations to teams and families Collaborate daily with school staff and other supports to facilitate student success Adapt service delivery to meet the needs of students at multiple grade levels Maintain timely, compliant documentation Complete required Red Clay fingerprinting in the initial days on assignment You'll enjoy working in an organization that values expertise, fosters collaboration, and truly impacts students' lives.
