Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Support students' academic and emotional success in a dynamic educational environment as a school psychologist. This contract position offers the chance to collaborate closely with dedicated faculty, staff, and families to help students reach their full potential.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Previous experience in school-based assessment, counseling, and interventions Strong understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and special education processes Excellent communication and consultative skills with students, parents, and educators Ability to develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs and behavior intervention plans Comfortable working with diverse student populations and varying needs Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to determine students' learning and behavioral needs Interpret test results, collaborate in the eligibility process, and provide recommendations for supports and services Participate in the creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and parents regarding student challenges and best practices Deliver direct interventions, including counseling, crisis intervention, or skill-building groups Advocate for students' well-being and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment within the school community In this impactful role, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships and serve as a key resource for students and staff.
