Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting students' growth and success as a full-time, onsite school psychologist for a PreK caseload. Working within a dynamic educational setting, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to nurture students' emotional and academic development.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid and current license or certification to practice as a school psychologist Experience working with young children, especially PreK-age groups Knowledge of and ability to administer a variety of diagnostic, cognitive, and social-emotional assessments Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively onsite in a collaborative, school-based environment

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive psychological services including assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention for PreK students Conduct formal and informal evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, or social-emotional support needs Develop and implement intervention strategies as part of the IEP/504 process Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments Monitor student progress and adjust supports as necessary Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise in early childhood developmental needs In this contract position, you'll play an essential role in fostering positive outcomes for young learners at a pivotal stage of development.
