Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the school community as a contract School Psychologist. Focused on student success and well-being, you'll provide personalized support while collaborating with educators and families to create an inclusive, positive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification as a School Psychologist Experience working in K-12 settings preferred Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP development, and intervention strategies Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to cultural competency and supporting diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results Participate in the development, review, and implementation of IEPs Provide direct mental health and counseling services to students as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs and support academic achievement Consult with faculty about effective classroom interventions and accommodations Support crisis intervention efforts and contribute to a safe school environment Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with regulations This contract opportunity offers a chance to work within a supportive team focused on student advocacy near the Laurel, DE area.
