Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract role for the 2026-2027 school year as a full-time school psychologist supporting students, educators, and families in a dynamic educational environment. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Eligibility for Delaware School Psychologist certification (pending licenses considered). Experience or knowledge in conducting psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and developing interventions. Strong collaborative skills to work alongside teachers, administrators, and families. Ability to interpret data and make recommendations tailored to individual student needs. Excellent communication, organizational, and case management abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform psychological evaluations and participate in the eligibility determination process for special education services. Collaborate with educators and families to design and implement evidence-based interventions and supports. Provide individual and group counseling for students to address behavioral, academic, and emotional challenges. Support and participate in multidisciplinary team and IEP meetings. Serve as a resource for school staff on mental health, behavior management, and effective instructional strategies. Promote a positive school climate and student well-being through targeted programs and consultation.
