Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A full-time School Psychologist position is available in Wilmington, DE, to support preschool, elementary, and high school students. This contract role requires on-site presence and a valid Delaware school psychologist license. The assignment starts ASAP and continues through June 12, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek. Responsibilities include conducting psychoeducational evaluations, writing comprehensive reports, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and collaborating with district staff to meet diverse student needs. Experience working in school settings across multiple age groups is essential, as is the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
Key Qualifications:
Active Delaware licensure as a School Psychologist Prior school-based experience with preschool, elementary, and high school students preferred Proficiency in completing psychoeducational evaluations and developing detailed reports Experience participating in IEP team meetings Reliable transportation to support multiple school sites within the district Ability to complete required fingerprinting promptly Strong organizational and communication skillsLocation:
