Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits for experienced School Psychologists passionate about making a difference in the lives of K-8th grade students. This contract, full-time role is based at a brand-new Autism Center, serving a dynamic and supportive student community. The center—located in a modern facility with just 96 students—caters to children with varying needs, but does not serve a primarily severe-profound population. Each classroom houses only six students, allowing focused attention and meaningful engagement. Work alongside skilled behavioral specialists, including two full-time BCBAs, and be an integral part of a holistic support environment. Your expertise in assessment, intervention, and especially counseling, will be highly valued as you help shape a nurturing and positive educational experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience working with elementary and middle school students (K-8th grade) Demonstrated ability to provide both assessment and counseling services Comfortable collaborating with BCBAs, special educators, and other support staff Previous experience (or strong interest) working in autism support settings is preferred Strong communication skills and an approachable, student-centered demeanor

Key Responsibilities:
