Job Description

  • Job-Specific Responsibilities:
  • The responsibilities associated with this role may encompass, but are not restricted to, the following: Adhere to the protocols established by the state licensing board, the ethical guidelines outlined by the American Psychological Association (APA), and the privileges granted by the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
Execute comprehensive psychological evaluations by integrating data from clinical interviews, standardized psychological assessments, and relevant collateral information. Formulate psychiatric diagnoses based on criteria from the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions for individuals and groups, aiding medical and surgical patients in coping with diagnoses and recovery processes Support the rehabilitation efforts of patients throughout their treatment journeys.
  • Work Schedule:
  • The standard workweek runs Monday to Friday, comprising 8.5-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm, including a 30-minute lunch break. There are no weekend duties, on-call requirements, or holiday responsibilities.

  • Ph.
D. or Psy.

D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program. -
  • Internship/Residency:
  • Successful completion of an APA-accredited internship in psychology.
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year of post-licensure experience as a clinical psychologist.
  • License:
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in any U.S. state.
  • Life Support Certification:
  • Valid certification as a Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) . -
  • Security Clearance:
  • Ability to successfully undergo and pass a government background check for security clearance.
