Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available at an elementary and secondary school setting in Tallahassee, FL. This contract position runs through the end of the school year and offers a strong possibility of renewal, providing stability and continuity for the right candidate. The role involves working with students across grades K-12, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student academic and social-emotional development Provide counseling and intervention services tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective educational strategies and support plans Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in data-driven decision making Promote positive behavior and mental health initiatives within the school community
Qualifications:
Active State School Psychologist License required Experience working with students across K-12 grade levels Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
