Job Description

Nemours Children's Health - Florida is seeking a full-time Integrated Primary Care Psychologist to join our growing Behavioral Health team serving pediatric primary care clinics in Central Florida. Nemours has a strong and expanding integrated behavioral health model, with psychologists and masters level clinicians embedded within interdisciplinary primary care teams to provide comprehensive, team-based care for children, adolescents, and their families. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to clinical care, program development, and workforce training within a well-established and collaborative system. Position Overview The psychologist will provide integrated behavioral health services across two pediatric primary care clinics (Vero Beach and Palm Bay), working closely with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and care coordinators to deliver brief, evidence-based interventions within the medical home. Applicants who are bilingual (English-Spanish) are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care (Primary Care Integration) Provide same-day consultation/warm hand-offs, assessment, and brief intervention for children and adolescents (3 through 18) Deliver evidence-based behavioral health services within a fast-paced primary care setting. Collaborate closely with pediatric providers to support whole-child health. Address a range of presenting concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral challenges, sleep, adjustment concerns) Psychological Testing (1 Day/Week) Conduct comprehensive psychological and diagnostic assessments Provide feedback to families and referring providers Integrate results into pediatric care planning Team-Based & System-Level Care Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care coordination Contribute to early identification and intervention efforts, including developmental and behavioral screenings Support population health approaches and brief intervention models within primary care Program Development, Teaching & Leadership Engage in program development, quality improvement, and clinical innovation initiatives Provide teaching and supervision opportunities with trainees (when applicable) Contribute to ongoing growth of integrated behavioral health services across clinics Qualifications Ph.D. or Psy.

D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program Completion of an APA-accredited internship, and at least one year of postdoctoral experience in a child-focused setting.
