Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A position is available for a School Psychologist supporting schools through travel assignments in Augusta, GA. This role involves working directly with students, educators, and families to assess and support student learning and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students with diverse learning and behavioral challenges. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. Provide counseling and support services to students to promote social-emotional well-being. Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational regulations.Qualifications:
Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience performing comprehensive psychological assessments in school settings. Strong understanding of special education laws and procedures. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to travel to various school sites as required.
