School Psychologist - Clarkston, GA Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Clarkston, GA Job Details Contract 12 hours ago Qualifications Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Valid and current licensing or certification as a School Psychologist Previous experience within a K-12 educational environment is a plus Strong skills in assessment, counseling, consultation, and data-driven decision-making Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to student assessments and special education
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Interpret assessment results to develop appropriate educational recommendations Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students as needed Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and academic accommodations Assist in crisis management and intervention efforts as appropriate Maintain accurate and confidential records following district and legal guidelines This contract position provides a rewarding opportunity to impact students' academic journeys while collaborating with a supportive and dedicated educational team.
