Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on students' well-being by providing vital psychological services in a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity as a School Psychologist brings you face-to-face with diverse learners, where your expertise will support both students and staff in reaching their highest potential.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience in a K-12 school setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, interventions, and counseling techniques Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Compassionate, culturally responsive, and dedicated to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify learning, behavioral, or emotional needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) along with the educational team Provide crisis intervention, one-on-one counseling, and small group sessions for students requiring emotional or behavioral support Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to design effective interventions and classroom strategies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and recommend supports Contribute to school-wide systems for positive behavior and mental health initiatives
