Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility Experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and leading eligibility meetings Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for working with students, teachers, and families Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement evidence-based interventions Participate actively in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing valuable insight and documentation Deliver direct and indirect counseling services aligned with student IEP goals Advocate for student access to appropriate educational supports and services Maintain accurate records, reports, and confidential documentation as required Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive school environment
