Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a School Psychologist supporting students' growth and development in a collaborative educational environment near Duluth, GA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to positively impact the academic and emotional well-being of students, working alongside educators and families to foster success.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Experience conducting assessments, creating behavior plans, and delivering counseling or intervention services in school settings Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP processes, and best practices in psychological assessments Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Administer psychological and educational assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with parents, teachers, and related service staff to develop individualized plans Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to students Offer guidance and training to staff on behavioral interventions, classroom management, and mental health concerns Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all ethical and legal standards within the school setting Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting support strategies as needed This position is a
