Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated professional with expertise in School Psychology. This full-time role, starting on July 27, 2026, and running through May 26, 2027, centers on supporting school psychologists across a diverse district setting. Expect to work closely with colleagues to provide comprehensive assessments and intervention services to students from pre-K through 12th grade, focusing primarily on testing with primary and elementary-aged children.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure in School Psychology Proven experience working with pre-K through 12th-grade student populations Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with other psychologists, educators, and families Experience with special education procedures, eligibility, and documentation preferred Commitment to culturally responsive and data-driven practices
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students, emphasizing primary and elementary-level assessments Partner with fellow psychologists to address the varied needs within the district Participate in IEP meetings, staffing, and multidisciplinary teams Collaborate in developing intervention strategies and support plans based on evaluation outcomes Maintain detailed, compliant records and ensure accurate documentation Provide consultation and support to educators, families, and students as needed As you make a meaningful impact supporting the well-being and academic achievement of students, you'll enjoy a consistent schedule with 37.5 hours per week and the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative, student-centered environment.
