As a contracted school psychologist, you'll play a vital role in evaluating student needs, developing intervention strategies, and collaborating with educators and families to foster a productive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in the state Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field Proven experience conducting psychological assessments in an educational setting Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations (IEP/504 process) Excellent communication, organizational, and consultation skills
Core Responsibilities:
Perform psychometric and behavioral assessments for students referred for special services Interpret assessment data to support IEP eligibility and service delivery planning Provide recommendations for interventions, accommodations, and support strategies Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to develop effective student plans Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings Offer crisis intervention and counseling as needed Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies and district guidelines
