Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role providing expertise in school psychology for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals committed to supporting student growth and well-being. You'll primarily work with primary and elementary students, offering evaluation and assessment services, with occasional support for a broader pre-K through 12th grade caseload.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist. Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, particularly with primary and elementary populations. Strong understanding of child development, learning differences, and behavioral interventions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs. Collaborate closely with other school psychologists and educational professionals across the district. Provide consultation and support for teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs. Prepare detailed, clear reports outlining assessment results and recommendations. Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs). Support the implementation of intervention strategies and monitor student progress.
