Clinical Diagnostic Evaluator - Psychologist Easterseals Hawaii Honolulu, HI Job Details Full-time $126,000 - $160,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Psychological testing Working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders Working with individuals with autism Driver's License Healthcare diagnosis Mobile devices Full Job Description The Clinical Diagnostic Evaluator conducts diagnostic assessments, initial behavioral health evaluations, and second opinions utilizing diagnostic tools, cognitive measures, adaptive functioning measures, and neuropsychological measures, in a manner consistent with clinical best practices. The Diagnostic Evaluator is integral in all aspects of diagnostic assessment including preparing, clinical interviewing, administering testing, establishing DSM-5 diagnoses, writing summary and full diagnostic reports for inclusion in the client's medical record and providing diagnostic feedback. Essential Job Functions Clinical Oversight Plan, organize, complete, and submit diagnostic assessments within established timelines. Communicate with clients and partners regarding results of diagnostic assessments. Provide other behavioral treatment/assessment/psychotherapy as assigned. Provide consultations and training to the clinical team as needed. Collaborate on treatment plans with Clinical Managers. Travel for assessments as required. Other duties as assigned by supervisor Administrative/Operational Enforce Easterseals Hawaii policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the local, state, federal, and funder regulatory agency rules. Ensure programmatic compliance with appropriate standards of accreditation and funding agencies. Coordinate with Family of Companies (FoC) departments to ensure successful delivery and application of services in day-to-day operations. Maintain necessary continuing education requirements. Qualifications Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to: Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychiatrist, or Licensed Doctor of Education in the state of Hawaii. Minimum of 1-year psychological assessment experience. Experience conducting ASD diagnostic evaluations and completing diagnostic reports Experience with administrating ADOS-2, Vineland-3, and WISC-V required. Experience with SB-5, DAS-II, Bayley-4, VB-MAPP, AFLS, ABAS-3, and DP-3, preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
Sensitivity to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population. Knowledgeable and skilled in computer/Microsoft processing software and excel. Must be able to use an iPhone or work cell phone if applicable. Personable; able to work comfortably with individuals at all levels within the organization. Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills. Excellent verbal and writing communication skills; frequent proofreading and checking documents for accuracy. Extensive proficiency in issues of childhood development. A commitment to the values of the organization while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, patience, and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters. Consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills. Exercise confidentiality and discretion pertaining to the work environment. Work independently and to be flexible in changing work priorities. Proficient in leading and participating in virtual meetings utilizing tools such as Zoom/Microsoft Teams.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to communicate effectively within the work environment, read and write using the primary language within the workplace. Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, twisting in order to observe, assess, and interact with clients. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time, up to 6-8 hours a day. Visual and auditory ability to work with clients, staff and others in the workplace continuously. Frequent speaking and listening (50%) to clients, staff, and other professionals in meetings and on the phone. Utilize computer and cell phone for effective communication. Occasional inter-island travel (1-2 times per quarter).
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position. Able to travel to multiple work sites and client homes. Reliable transportation needed. Must have valid Hawaii Driver's License/insurance and maintain a clean driving record. Must pass health screenings, obtain vaccinations and clear TB testing based on company policies. Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General. Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification. Ability to obtain and maintain Safety Care certification. Ability to obtain and maintain a CAQH credential. Maintain active Psychologist licensure in the State of Hawaii. Ability to obtain and maintain NPI number. Must attend any required training.
