PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program Completion of a 1-year fellowship/residency in health psychology/behavioral medicine or 1 year of relevant clinical experience within the past 4 years Current, active, unrestricted U.S. psychologist license No additional certifications required beyondBasic Life Support Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and diagnose using DSM criteria Provide individual and group therapy; support patients coping with medical conditions or injuries Assist with patient rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care Maintain productivity standards, accurate documentation, and use of clinical systems (e.g., MHS Genesis) Follow infection control, safety, and emergency protocols Participate in peer review, performance improvement, and staff training Support Family Advocacy Program requirements Attend required trainings and meetings; pursue continuing education Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and risk management standards Monday through Friday, excluding the day of observance of federal holidays, for a 8.5 or 9 hour shift between the hours of 0700 to 1600. The HCW's shift shall include an uncompensated 30-minute or 1 hour meal break.
