Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential psychological services to students in the Algonquin, IL area for the new school year. This assignment offers two full-time positions, each focused on fostering student well-being and cultivating a positive, inclusive school environment. With a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, you'll enjoy the flexibility to tailor your caseload according to your interests and expertise.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Illinois School Psychologist license required Professional Educator License (PEL) in good standing Experience working in a school setting, conducting assessments, and providing support Strong collaboration and communication skills when working with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt practices to varied student needs and learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health services to students Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support academic and behavioral interventions Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, interventions, and ongoing progress Contribute to a safe and supportive school atmosphere by promoting social-emotional learning What's in
