Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an essential role supporting students at the middle school level for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity places you in a dynamic educational environment, working full-time to provide psychological support and assessments to students who need it most. You'll enjoy a consistent schedule while collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team focused on student well-being and academic success. Interviews will be coordinated promptly, ensuring a smooth transition into your new assignment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist Experience or strong familiarity with middle school-aged students Comfortable working full-time hours Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively as part of an educational support team Familiarity with assessment tools, IEP development, and counseling techniques
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations, interpret assessment results, and support eligibility determinations for special education services Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate IEPs and intervention plans Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) meetings and data-driven decision-making Consult with school personnel regarding best practices for student achievement, behavioral strategies, and classroom accommodations Support crisis interventions as needed This is an exceptional opportunity to impact students' lives during a critical period of their development in a supportive school environment.
