Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and special education evaluation processes Excellent communication, assessment, and counseling skills Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary teams Prior experience in a school setting is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for evaluation Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create and implement student support strategies Deliver evidence-based interventions and counseling to individuals and groups Assist in crisis intervention and contribute to the development of school-wide mental health initiatives Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for academic and behavioral supports Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district, state, and professional standards Enjoy flexible work arrangements and the chance to make a difference in an educational environment.
