Duration:
2026-2027 School Year We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year in Gurnee, Illinois. This position offers the opportunity to work within a large and diverse school district serving students from Early Childhood through Grade 8. The School Psychologist will support students' academic achievement, behavioral development, and social-emotional well-being through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families. Responsibilities Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students experiencing academic, behavioral, or social-emotional difficulties Interpret assessment results and develop recommendations for educational planning and interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Participate in the Response to Intervention (RTI) process Develop and support intervention and remediation programs for students Participate in IEP meetings and provide psychological evaluation reports and recommendations Provide consultation on behavioral strategies, classroom management, and student support services Monitor student progress and support data-driven decision-making Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations Promote positive mental health practices and supportive learning environments Requirements Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology required Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychology endorsement required Previous school-based experience preferred Strong assessment, evaluation, and intervention skills Knowledge of
RTI/MTSS
