This full-time opportunity is based within a single-school district serving about 700 students, offering the chance to build lasting relationships with students, educators, and families in a close-knit educational setting. Your workday runs from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and approximately 32.5 paid hours each week.

Qualifications and Experience:

Possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement Solid track record working with children in pre-kindergarten through middle school Demonstrated ability in play-based assessment methodologies Skilled at evaluating and supporting students using creative, flexible approaches beyond traditional standardized testing

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, utilizing both play-based and innovative techniques tailored to young learners Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support the social, emotional, and academic development of students Develop and implement effective intervention plans and recommendations for individual students and groups Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights on best practices in student evaluation and support Document assessments and progress in a clear, timely, and professional manner This is an on-site position, allowing you to be a visible, present, and accessible support for staff and students alike.
