Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Desired Skills & Criteria:
Active Illinois Licensed School Social Worker (LSSW) credential required Previous experience in schools or with school-aged populations highly valued Strong communication and collaboration abilities when working with multidisciplinary teams Compassionate, adaptable, and resourceful approach to supporting students' diverse needs Proficiency in counseling, crisis intervention, and developing individualized student plans
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral issues Support students' mental health, academic achievement, and social development Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff Inform and implement intervention and prevention programs for students and families Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to district and state protocols
