Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain it prior to start Strong background working with PreK-8th grade populations Experience conducting psychological assessments, developing intervention plans, and participating in IEP meetings Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments Consult with educators, administrators, and families to provide guidance on student learning, behavior, or mental health needs Develop and help implement evidence-based interventions and supports Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams to create IEPs and support student success Provide crisis response as needed and encourage a positive, inclusive school climate Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards Experience a rewarding contract position within an engaged and supportive school community.
