This contract opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist near Cicero, IL, offers the chance to assess, consult, and collaborate with educators and families—empowering students to reach their highest potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP processes Excellent interpersonal, consultation, and communication skills Ability to work independently and adapt to new environments quickly
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to eligibility determinations and individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services for students as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success Assist in developing and implementing targeted behavior intervention plans Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records Stay current with best practices and developments in school psychology Why Consider This Contract Role?
