Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a School Psychologist, contributing your expertise during the 2026-2027 school year in a dynamic educational setting near Cicero, IL. This contract role offers flexibility with a commitment of 1-2 days per week, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while balancing your professional and personal life. This onsite position is ideal for candidates who thrive in collaborative school environments and are dedicated to supporting students' academic and emotional well-being.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active certification as a School Psychologist and a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) are required Previous experience working with students in K-12 settings highly preferred Strong understanding of assessment, counseling, and intervention strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments Implement individualized intervention plans that support student learning and growth Consult with staff and families, offering guidance on behavioral, academic, and social-emotional concerns Participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights for student support plans Maintain accurate records and produce detailed, timely reports Foster a positive, inclusive school climate while advocating for diverse learners
