Job Description

Blazer Jobs has an opening for a School Psychologist for a full-time contract position for the 2026-2027 school year in Danville, IL. This role has flexibility for onsite (W2) or virtual (1099) candidates, offering the opportunity to support students in either a junior high or elementary setting.
Job Description:
The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive evaluation and support services within a school-based setting. This role includes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, supporting special education processes, and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations Collaborate with special education staff and general education teams Support MTSS processes and data-driven decision making Schedule and facilitate domain meetings, EDCs, and ARs Assist with manifestation determinations Maintain accurate documentation and reporting timelines
Qualifications:
Active School Psychologist license/certification (or ability to obtain) Knowledge of IDEA and Illinois rules and regulations Strong understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, DS, and MTSS Ability to manage timelines and compliance requirements Virtual candidates must be comfortable working independently and remotely
Experience:
Previous school-based experience preferred Experience with evaluations, MTSS, and compliance processes
Education:
Master's or Specialist degree in
