team during school hours, from 8:50am to 3:35pm, providing essential psychological services to young children as they learn and grow.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement (Illinois) Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Experience conducting cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Perform psychological and psycho-educational evaluations for K-5th grade students Interpret data and results to inform interventions and individualized education plans (IEPs) Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote positive student outcomes Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed Support students' social-emotional development and contribute to a safe, inclusive school environment Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to implement strategies and support staff and families Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines This position offers a consistent daytime schedule aligned with the school day, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while creating value for students and their educational success.
