Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Empower students to succeed and help shape supportive learning environments in a contract opportunity for a School Psychologist near Elgin, IL. You'll play a crucial role in collaborating with educators, families, and administrators to create optimal conditions for personal and academic growth.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience in schools, supporting K-12 populations Proficient in administering psychological assessments and interpreting results Strong communication and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, observations, and assessments Support student learning through direct interventions, consultation, and crisis response Help develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans Work closely with school teams and families to promote emotional and academic wellbeing Provide behavioral support and recommend strategies for classroom management Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines This contract role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of students while working alongside passionate professionals.
