Job Description
School Psychologist - 2026-2027 School Year We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to join a supportive elementary school team for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position is located in Elmwood Park, IL and serves a PreK-5th grade caseload. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success through comprehensive evaluations, consultation, collaboration, and participation in multidisciplinary teams. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with educators, families, and student support staff to help ensure all students receive the services they need to thrive.

August 17, 2026 Primary Responsibilities Complete all initial and reevaluation psychoeducational assessments and required IEP documentation Conduct comprehensive evaluations and prepare timely, compliant evaluation reports Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings Collaborate with the Student Support Team and MTSS teams to problem-solve academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns Consult with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success Provide direct student support services as scheduling permits Assist with data collection, progress monitoring, and intervention planning Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Qualifications Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred Preferred Qualities Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Team-oriented and proactive mindset Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff Commitment to supporting diverse learners and fostering student success Why Join Us?
