Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology (required) Active State/District Licensure/Certificate (IL PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement) Minimum of two years of school-based experience Demonstrated commitment to educational core values and student-centered approaches Persistent mindset toward supporting the holistic success of each child

Key Responsibilities:

Provide assessment, prevention, identification, and support for students' academic and social-emotional needs Function as an integral member of school-based teams (SPED, 504, MTSS), ensuring compliance and implementation of individual support plans Lead interventions, progress monitoring, and consultation within MTSS frameworks, especially for Tier 3 students Prepare thorough documentation, maintain confidentiality, and facilitate communication with families, staff, and external agencies as necessary Stay updated on best practices, sharing insights with colleagues and presenting professional development when needed Maintain accurate records of all interventions, progress, and collaborative activities according to required guidelines Consistently participate in professional meetings, acting as both an advocate and expert regarding child development and learning disorders This role offers a rewarding opportunity to influence positive educational outcomes within a vibrant school community.
