Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational setting near Glenview, IL. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals with a passion for helping children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. This flexible position offers both part-time (20-24 hours per week) and full-time (37.5 hours per week) options to suit your availability. You'll manage a caseload conducting between 20 to 40 evaluations each year, collaborating closely with dedicated teams to drive positive outcomes for students. Desired Qualifications and Experience Professional licensure as a School Psychologist (state certification required) Experience within K-12 schools preferred Solid understanding of special education laws and IEP process Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize student needs Background in conducting psychoeducational assessments Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive special education evaluations for assigned students Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, working collaboratively with staff and families Serve as a resource to the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) team by offering interventions and behavioral supports Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student mental health and learning challenges Maintain detailed assessment records and documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines Participate in regular team meetings within school hours (8 am-4 pm) Joining this program means you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing students' well-being and academic progress within an inclusive school culture.
