Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact at the elementary level. This part-time contract role (three days per week) focuses on supporting students and collaborating with staff to foster a positive learning environment. You'll become an integral resource for students, educators, and families while enjoying the flexibility of a reduced schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for elementary students Perform classroom and individual observations to assess student needs Assist with the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process, collaborating with educators to design and monitor interventions Actively participate in meetings with faculty, parents, and relevant stakeholders regarding student progress and interventions Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification required Previous experience working as a school psychologist, preferably within an elementary school setting Strong skills in evaluation, observation, and intervention planning Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Candidates selected for this role will receive competitive compensation ranging from $53/hr to $58/hr.
