Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting the academic and emotional growth of intermediate school students in grades 3-5. As a School Psychologist for the 2026/2027 school year, you'll be a valued, on-site presence, collaborating closely with educators, students, and families. You will not only provide counseling and assessment services but also take on LEA responsibilities, ensuring that students receive comprehensive support for their educational journey. Your days will run from 8:20 am to 3:35 pm, offering a structured schedule within a vibrant educational community dedicated to student success. Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid license as a School Psychologist in Illinois Experience working with grades 3-5, with strong knowledge of childhood development Familiarity with school-based assessments, counseling, and intervention techniques Previous experience handling LEA (Local Education Agency) responsibilities or willingness to learn Strong collaborative and communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams Adaptable, proactive problem-solver with a dedication to educational equity
Key Responsibilities:
