Job Description

Make an impact in the lives of high school students by providing expert support and guidance as a school psychologist. This contract position offers the chance to work onsite in a collaborative educational environment from August 10, 2026, to May 14, 2027. You'll have the opportunity to partner closely with staff, parents, and students, making a difference for a caseload of approximately 30 students each week.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Holds a valid Illinois school psychologist license (IL PSYCH) Experienced working with high school populations Skilled in conducting assessments, creating intervention plans, and providing individual or group counseling Strong communicator, able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Organized and adaptable with excellent problem-solving abilities

What You'll Be Doing:

Assess and identify student needs through evaluations, data review, and collaboration with teachers and families Develop and implement effective intervention strategies tailored for individual students Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed Participate in IEP meetings, contributing assessments and recommendations Support school staff in managing student behavior and enhancing learning environments Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with policies and best practices This position offers 35 onsite hours per week, allowing you to develop meaningful connections and follow student progress throughout the academic year.
