Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year, supporting students in both junior high and kindergarten settings. This full-time position offers a dynamic role engaging with diverse age groups across two buildings, where your expertise as a School Psychologist will foster positive learning environments and student well-being.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology Valid state credential or eligibility in School Psychology Previous experience working in a school setting preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to manage a diverse caseload across different age groups Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and special education processes
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development Provide direct support and counseling to students as needed Promote a safe and supportive school climate at both junior high and kindergarten levels Consult with staff on best practices for supporting student mental health and learning In this role, you'll experience the fulfillment of making a real impact on students at pivotal stages of their educational journey.
