Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Current licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with K-8 students; flexibility to support both early learners and adolescents Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of assessment tools, IEP development, and best practices for student support Compassion, adaptability, and strong organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, observations, and assessments for students at both junior high and kindergarten buildings Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and intervention plans Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services as needed Advocate for student well-being, promoting positive behavior and a supportive school climate
