Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract School Psychologist - Elementary and Middle School Location and Position Details Soliant Education is seeking a School Psychologist for a 2026-2027 school year contract opportunity serving schools around the greater Orland Park area. This education industry position will begin on August 17, 2026 and continue through May 28, 2027. The selected candidate will work 35 hours per week with school hours scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. School Setting The School Psychologist will support two smaller school buildings within the district. One campus serves students in kindergarten through 2nd grade with approximately 320 students enrolled, while the second building serves grades 6-8 with approximately 293 students. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, educators, and support staff in collaborative and student-focused learning environments. Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include conducting special education evaluations, participating in MTSS team meetings, and analyzing academic and social-emotional data to support student success. The School Psychologist will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to identify student needs and help implement appropriate interventions and services. Additional duties may include attending eligibility meetings, completing evaluation reports, and maintaining compliant documentation throughout the school year. Requirements Qualified candidates should possess an active School Psychologist license or certification appropriate for the state of employment. Previous experience working in school-based settings is preferred, along with strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Applicants should be comfortable managing evaluation timelines while supporting both academic and behavioral student needs across multiple grade levels. Compensation and Benefits This contract position through Soliant Education offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $45-$65 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Eligible candidates will have access to health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and weekly pay.
