Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A full-time, on-site opportunity as a School Psychologist is available for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 17. The position is located in Orland Park, IL, serving two elementary schools with diverse student needs: Evergreen Elementary and South Elementary. The role operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, providing consistent support throughout the school day. The caseload includes providing BCBA-related services across buildings, supporting three Autistic Support Classrooms at South Elementary and two Emotional Support Classrooms at Evergreen Elementary.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating and scheduling functional assessments and behavioral evaluations Developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior plans tailored to individual student needs Collaborating with education teams to create and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Communicating effectively with students, families, and staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of behavioral interventions and making data-driven adjustments Qualifications or desired experience: Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with students requiring behavioral support, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and emotional disabilities Ability to conduct functional assessments and develop comprehensive behavior plans Strong collaboration and communication skills within multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences through dedicated behavioral support in a dynamic school setting.
