Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity serving the needs of students as a school psychologist for the upcoming 26-27 academic year. This full-time contract role will allow you to make a meaningful difference across both junior high and kindergarten buildings, supporting young learners at critical stages of development. Ideal candidates thrive in dynamic school settings and bring expertise in delivering psychological services to diverse age groups. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster positive learning environments and help every student realize their potential.
Desired qualifications and experience include:
Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited program in school psychology Valid, current certification/licensure to practice as a school psychologist Previous work experience with school-age children, especially in early childhood and adolescent populations Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and data-driven decision making Effective communicator able to engage parents, teachers, and administrators Commitment to ethical practice and professional growth Your responsibilities will include: Conducting psycho-educational assessments and creating actionable reports Providing consultation and direct support to students with academic, social, and behavioral needs Developing intervention strategies in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams Assisting with IEP development, eligibility determination, and progress monitoring Supporting crisis intervention and promoting positive school climate initiatives Participating in ongoing professional learning and staying current with best practices Take advantage of the opportunity to guide students during foundational learning years, all while working in two engaging buildings that value your professional insights.
