Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational setting and make a genuine difference as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract role begins August 11th, 2026, and extends through May 26th, 2027, with the possibility of additional days if needed. You'll work a consistent 40-hour week, focusing on an elementary-level caseload serving students in Early Childhood through 4th grade. As a school psychologist, your expertise and compassion can help cultivate a supportive environment for young learners, educators, and families alike. Key Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience supporting students at the elementary level (Early Childhood - 4th grade) is highly valued. Familiarity with a range of assessment tools and intervention strategies. Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans. Provide both direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and caregivers. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making. Support Response to Intervention (RTI) efforts and help foster positive school climate and culture. Serve as an advocate for student well-being and inclusive practices within the school community.
