Job Description

Step into an essential role supporting elementary students as a school psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This onsite contract opportunity allows you to make a daily impact within supportive educational communities near Sycamore, IL, including Algonquin, Carpentersville, and Hampshire. You'll work closely with students, educators, and families to nurture academic, emotional, and behavioral growth.

Key Qualifications:

Hold an active Professional Educator License (PEL)—this is required for consideration Background as a school psychologist and experience in educational or school-based settings Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders Ability to design and implement interventions tailored for elementary students Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for elementary students Develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement evidence-based strategies Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed within the school setting Assist with data collection and progress monitoring to ensure student success Attend meetings, contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams, and participate in professional development
