Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a full-time School Psychologist in a contract position beginning this August. This opportunity offers the chance to provide vital services to young learners while working in collaboration with dedicated educational teams. The role spans three districts, ensuring a dynamic, engaging experience while maintaining a single full-time position. Professionals taking on this opportunity will have the ability to collaborate closely with staff, students, and families while leveraging their expertise to support the academic, emotional, and social needs of elementary-aged children.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Active Illinois School Psychologist certification required Professional Educator License (PEL) must be current and valid Previous experience working in an elementary school environment preferred Ability to manage a caseload across multiple district settings Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Commitment to best practices in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teams Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students as needed Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and provide expertise on interventions Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student development Travel among three districts; manage time effectively across locations This contract position offers the unique opportunity to support diverse learners and work alongside passionate educators, all while maintaining the variety and challenge of serving multiple school communities.
